The Ridiculous American Media
This post will be a short one, but I had to put this up after I read it and nearly spewed smoothie out of my nose. Apparently - and get ready for a shock - Sarah Jessica Parker almost got wet on a photo shoot! Seriously! From www.imdb.com:
Actress Sarah Jessica Parker narrowly escaped a soaking after a giant wave crashed onto the riverside set of a photo shoot for Vogue magazine. The 42-year-old and her Sex And The City co-star Chris Noth were sitting in a tiny boat in New York’s East River on Saturday for a shoot with iconic photographer Annie Leibovitz when an icy wave hit the set and drenched the crew - but just missed splashing the stars.
It also goes on to say that the same star nearly tripped - tripped! - last week while walking down the red carpet. Shit, I hope she’s okay.
Seriously IMDb… give your head a shake.

I totally agree with you, Greg. I find it truly embarrassing that we North Americans think stories like poor little SJP getting wet is news worthy. What are we teaching our children??? How shallow do we want the next generation to be? I watch entirely too much TV and am constantly bombarded with ridiculous stories like that. Who gives a crap who slept with who, who’s divorced and who got a nose job! The world has so many more things to offer, and we should be concentrating on things that are much deeper and far more meaningful.

I have never seen anything that would look so disgusting. Why do people publish stuff like that? I don’t understand them!
