I bought his video even though i have never heard about him. i just wanted to be part of this. Now looking at your youtube videos i have seen some jokes before before but his name didn't ring a bell when i bought it. I really hope he will make at least another 500.000 on this. It's great to see how he can cut out the middleman and get right to his fans with an honest unrestricted product.
BUT: you have to see that Louis, Radiohead and Trent Reznor already have a huge fan base build up by companies that own large distribution networks. This is why it works for them. I think it will take a while until newcomers can pull this off from zero without ever having used a TV network or music label. But i'm sure that time wil come as well.
