Derek, to get to the area with the most damage would require a ten minute taxi ride, but there’s a perimeter around that that was quite dangerous for a while. Most areas of the city are pretty safe now, traffic returning to normal. Hope it lasts.

My favorite observation was the old newspaper covering the windows of 7 Eleven. I could imagine the mob coming up Asoke with plans to loot and pillage and then being deterred by the newspaper covered windows. "Damn you newspaper! If only you weren’t there we could identity if there was stock inside and then proceed to break the windows!".
Oil and I agree – the 2nd picture is awesome!
