The problem is that you go infrequently. It's like flossing your teeth -- it doesn't hurt the more you do it. The first few times will hurt because you're out of whack, but after that it gets better. It's not about relaxing, get an oil massage for that, it's about improving your flexibility, etc.

The full body massage can get a bit painful. But it's gooood pain :) If you prefer it nice and gentle like, you should try a foot massage. Makes me sleep like a baby. There's a good place at the Suan Lum Night Bazaar (and probably every other block in Krung Thep).
